Welcome to the official website for the Arkansas Teenage Rodeo Association. This Association has been established over a decade for youth who enjoy the sport of rodeo in a fun and friendly competitive atmosphere. We welcome any children from ages old enough to ride, thru the age of 19 to join us in rodeo events such as: Barrels, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Chute Dogging, Ribbon Roping, Calf Roping, Break-A-Way Roping, Team Roping, and Bull Riding.
Since the late 90’s this rodeo association has grown tremendously and has become much more than just an association. Any member will agree that we are the ATRA rodeo family. Parents oversee all rodeos assuring that each child is performing priceless memories with a great deal of responsibility that will keep our youth headed in the right direction for a positive future.
We offer four different age groups for children to compete within: Beginners 7 and under, Peewees 8-10, Juniors 11-13, Seniors 14-19. What ever the age is of the child as of Oct. 1 is the age group he/she will compete in. Our Rodeos usually begin the end of February and goes into August.
This association has grown each and every year in memberships, parents, and most importantly Fans! We strive as a rodeo family to make sure that all members are known to be winners. There is nothing better than the smiles on each and every child when they walk away with various prizes from our year end awards banquet. As our memberships have grown, so has the amount and quality of the awards each and every child walks away at the end of our season.
PLEASE COME JOIN THE ATRA FAMILY THIS SEASON FOR THRILLING RODEO ACTION IN COMPETITION OR JUST TO CHEER ON THE YOUTH OF OUR RODEO FAMILY!
