**JUNE LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT**
Hello Again,

June is here and we have reached the halfway point of our season.  So folks please remember that in order to qualify for the finals you must participate in at least 8 rodeos.  With that said, I want to shout out loud and clear as to how PROUD I am of the members of the ATRA.  The attitudes and conduct of the members was exceptional throughout the Memorial Weekend festivities.  We showed everyone involved with that event just what a standout group of children and young adults we have.  Thanks also to each of you for cleaning up the arena and parking area on Monday.  Your efforts were rewarded with a $200.00 donation from the PRCA committee.  Even though it was hot and humid, I simply couldn’t have asked for more from all of you.

THANKS!! Mrs. Nikki, to you and Perry, I don’t have the words to describe how honored the ATRA family is to have you with us.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work with that event!

Remember for the rest of the rodeo season the ATRA Official Dress Code will be in force starting June 20th.  So remember to wear boots, hats, collars and cuffs under the lights to avoid DISQUALIFICATION.

Please visit the NEWS section on the website for important announcements and information about deadlines on sponsorships, raffle tickets and ads.  Summer is here and we the association as a whole need to get our there and secure those sponsors.  Members contact your sponsors from last year or add to your sponsor list by finding new ones too.  The board will be announcing more fundraisers as our season continues.  So be watching the website and listening at the rodeos for more information.  I am always open to suggestions, so if any member has a fundraising idea contact me.  I can be reached at   870-994-3401 or email me at ashfltrodeodad@centurytel.net.

Remember to sell those raffle saddle tickets.  If you have not picked up your tickets or If you need additional tickets, please contact me.  I will see that some are sent your way.  Don’t forget each member must sell 25 tickets prior to the finals.

These contestants are currently injured and not able to rodeo: Denelle Henderson, Zach Horton and Dock Yarberry.  The ATRA wishes all of you a speedy recovery.  Get back out on the rodeo trail soon!!
